If they are, end the tasks to close them. Make sure that Origin.exe and OriginWebHelperService.exe aren’t there.
To double-check, open Task Manager and go to Processes. If it isn’t, you won’t be able to complete all the steps. Double-check that Origin is fully closed. If Origin is running, close it by clicking Origin in the menu bar then Exit. Find EA and click the downward arrow to expand. If you can’t open EA Desktop, you can also follow these steps to clear your cache. Select the three dashes in the far-left corner of EA Desktop. I did install the Windows 10 May release and I believe some other updates followed after that.

NOTE: Oculus software worked great but asked me to repair since either yesterday (June 17th) or the day before (June 16th). Removed all my other USB devices except for mouse/keyboard.Removed OVR services (and let them reinstall).Created a new user account and tried to install.There is no install log or even an Oculus folder in Appdata.Deleted all oculus folders in appData/downloads etc.I have not found a fix yet from those posts yet. I see multiple reports and reddit threads the past few days about the installation failing/hanging (google oculus setup hangs and filter 'this week'). It will complete the setup but you still get the OVRLibraryService errors when you start the client and you have to use the above workaround. Start the service and let setup complete.You might get a warning that it created the Log On for the service.

Type a random password and click ok/apply. Click the this account radio button and type NT SERVICE\OVRService in the input. Wait for the service to be created during setup (F5/refresh the services.msc window until you see it). To start the Oculus VR Runtime Service (OVRService) and let setup finish you need to do the following: When setup doesn't finish, this folder is not present for me, so that's worth something I guess. Also, this will create the needed Oculus folder in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Oculus\ so we can provide logs for debugging.
